The WI have launched Britain's first Jam Festival

The WI's Denman College will hosts what's believed to be Britain's first festival dedicated solely to jam on November 20-21, 2010.

Timed to coincide with the end of the fruit preservation season, the WI Real Jam Festival will include 11 competition classes.

'The WI, which is famed for its jam, is encouraging people everywhere to get into the kitchen, cook up a storm and put forward their best jar' says Anne Harrison, Chair of the Denman College Committee.

Rosie, an avid WI member, is delighted that Jam Jar Shop are an associate sponsor of the festival.
