How much does delivery cost
Our delivery rates are based on the total consignment weight and this
is automatically calculated and shown when you add items to your shopping basket.
We prefer to be transparent with our delivery costs rather than artificially
inflating product prices and offering subsidised or free carriage.
The following
Scottish Post Codes are classed as
Highlands and Islands with our Courier:
AB, KW, PH, PA, IV, FK, HS, KA, ZE
Export Orders
We are able to ship items worldwide - please
contact us for details.
Delivery Time
We aim to process orders and have them ready for despatch within 24 working hours of receipt.
However, depending on the seasonality of demand and our workload order processing can take up to 3 working days.
For lightweight items, such as labels, lids, jam pot covers etc you have the option to select Royal Mail 1st class post or courier.
For glass and heavier parcels we use a next working day courier service for UK mainland deliveries
and our courier collects from us just after lunchtime Monday to Friday and schedules delivery for the next working day.
Scottish Highlands and UK Islands are sent on a 2/3 working day service - this depends on the
remoteness of the destination.
If we are knowingly out of stock of an item this will be shown on the product
information page with an estimated date for stock replenishment.
How are we doing
We are currently despatching
89% of orders with
24 hours of receipt
6% of orders with
48 hours of receipt
2% of orders with
72 hours of receipt
The remaining 3% of orders have extended despatch times due to stock shortages
Receiving your parcel
For items sent by courier you should ideally be able to sign for the consignment upon receipt.
If you are unable to do this you may provide an alternative delivery address, such as your work address.
If your neighbours can take delivery please tells us at checkout where you can enter delivery instructions.
If you have a safe place to leave the parcel(s), such as your porch, car port, shed, garage, barn etc then
you can request this but the parcel will be left at your own risk.
If our courier is unable to deliver your parcel they will leave a card with instructions to contact
your local depot so that you can arrange a re-delivery or collection. If you do not respond the
parcel will eventually be returned to us and will have to be re-sent, incurring a further delivery charge.
