How much does delivery cost

Our delivery rates are based on the total consignment weight and this is automatically calculated and shown when you add items to your shopping basket.

We prefer to be transparent with our delivery costs rather than artificiallyinflating product prices and offering subsidised or free carriage.

Delivery Zones

Our standard delivery zones are as follows . . .

• For lightweight parcels up to 2kg, sent by Royal Mail to UK Post Codes
• UK Mainland, delivery by tracked express courier service - excludes Post Codes listed below
• Economy Courier Service to UK Highlands and Islands, Northern Island and Isle of Man - approx 5 working days in transit
• UK Highlands and Islands (excluding NI) - includes below Post Codes, sent by Royal Mail or express courier service
• Northern Island and Isle of Man, delivery by Royal Mail or tracked express courier service
• Jersey and Gurnsey, delivery by Royal Mail or tracked express courier service
• Ireland (South), delivery by tracked courier service
• Collection from our Oakham warehouse

Delivery Time

We aim to despatch your order within 24 working hours, subject to stock availability.
However, depending on the seasonality of demand and our workload order processing can take up to 3 to 4 working days.

If we are knowingly out of stock of an item this will be shown on the product information page with an estimated date for stock replenishment.

Receiving your parcel

For items sent by courier you should ideally be able to sign for the consignment upon receipt.
If you are unable to do this you may provide an alternative delivery address, such as your work address.
If your neighbours can take delivery please tells us at checkout where you can enter delivery instructions.
If you have a safe place to leave the parcel(s), such as your porch, car port, shed, garage, barn etc then you can request this but the parcel will be left at your own risk.

If our courier is unable to deliver your parcel they will leave a card with instructions to contact your local depot so that you can arrange a re-delivery or collection. If you do not respond the parcel will eventually be returned to us and will have to be re-sent, incurring a further delivery charge.
