Our programme of preserving workshops are aimed at the complete beginner - join us in the lovely county of Rutland and spend time learning the preserving and jam making techniques.

We cover jam making, chutneys and pickles, sauces, curds - and some seasonal delights ideal for Christmas presents.

The classes begin with a warm welcomed accompanied by coffee and biscuits while we all introduce ourselves. The course will be completely hands-on - what you make you will be able to take home.

There will be time to chat about jam and, well, jam! as well as time exploring ideas for presentation and labelling and there will be plenty of opportunity for discussion and questions.

Why not get a group of friends together and make a day of it? Or perhaps you are getting married? We will be offering the opportunity to book a course for you and your friends to come an make wedding favour preserves. Send us a sample of your colour scheme and we will make sure we bring appropriate decorations for you to finish off the jars. Everything you need will be provided - including the bubbly!
