Q:
Further to the previous question, does this mean that with the red spotty lids I don´t need to do the waxed disc, cellophane cover etc etc. The lid itself will provide a sufficient seal if storing for 1-2 years in a cool place? Thanks.
A:
If you fill the jars hot and fill to the brim then then our lids will provide an airtight seal as a vacuum is formed as the jam cools.
Q:
I plan to fill these with bramble jelly - do they need a waxed disc and, if so, do you supply a suitable size?
A:
No, no waxed discs are necessary with our lids
